Dublin narrowed the gap to 3 in the 51st minute. Paudie Clifford put over to extend the Kingdom advantage to 4 in the 54th minute. Tony Brosnan did get his goal in the 56th minute, netted from a chance not entirely dissimilar to his earlier opportunity. That made it 1-12 to 0-8. Kerry led 1-13 to 0-8 after 64 minutes and seemed to be cruising. However, Dublin hit a two pointer followed by a goal to move within 3 at 1-13 to 1-10.
