Galway are on the hunt for a new manager this morning, following the departure of Padraig Joyce last night.
He stepped down from his role in charge of the men’s footballers after seven years.
In a statement last night the County Board thanked Joyce, saying he re-established them as “the standard bearers” of Connacht football.

Brian Flanagan will remain in charge of the Kildare senior footballers for 2027.
The Johnstownbridge clubman took the Liliywhites job on a four-year term in 2024.

Kildare were relegated to Division 2 of the Football League last season, and were knocked out by Kerry in Round 2B of Sam Maguire.
