The Minnesota Timberwolves have officially converted Johnny Juzang’s contract into a two-way deal, NBA insider Michael Scotto reported. Juzang originally signed a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the team on August 1.
Juzang, 24, appeared in 64 games for the Utah Jazz last season, starting 18, and averaged 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. He shot 42.9% from the field and 37.6% from three-point range during his most recent NBA campaign.
In the G League, Juzang has been a consistent scorer, averaging over 20 points per game across multiple seasons with the Salt Lake City Stars.
During the 2025–26 preseason, Juzang posted strong performances, including a 20-point outing against the Indiana Pacers on October 8 and a 17-point game versus Guangzhou on October 14.
The two-way deal allows Juzang to split time between Minnesota and their G League affiliate, giving him an opportunity to earn more consistent playing time while remaining part of the Timberwolves’ NBA roster.
