Here’s New Orleans Pelicans executive VP of basketball operations Joe Dumars on if he’s concerned about the team not having its 2026 first-round pick anymore (traded to the Atlanta Hawks on draft night/2-10 start).

“No, we don’t have the pick, so there’s no sense of me being concerned about it now. It’s done, and no, there really isn’t. I mean, I can sit here and have a concern all I want, but we still don’t have the pick. And so, there’s not any level of concern. I’m concerned about the guys that we have here. I’m concerned about the guys we drafted and watching them grow and become the players they can become. But I’m not sitting here worried about the pick that we don’t have.”
