New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jeremiah Fears talked about his early impressions of fellow rookie teammate Derik Queen after Summer League practice this past weekend (acquired in draft day trade with the Atlanta Hawks/selected 13th overall).

“Super, super skilled. Extremely skilled. High IQ. Can really do everything you need him to do. He’s somebody that we gon’ need in these next couple games. So we expect him to show up big time, and I’m gonna continue to keep talking to him and pushing him and motivating him.”
