The Utah Jazz visit the Minnesota Timberwolves in an NBA Cup West Group A matchup Friday, November 7th at 8:00 p.m. ET at Target Center. Injuries on both sides could influence rotations and playing time.

Utah will be without Walker Kessler, recovering from a left shoulder injury, and Georges Niang, sidelined with a left foot stress reaction. Two-way players John Tonje and Oscar Tshiebwe are also inactive, reducing frontcourt depth.

Minnesota has multiple players listed as available or questionable. Anthony Edwards is questionable with a right hamstring strain, while Terrence Shannon Jr. is doubtful with left foot soreness. Rob Dillingham and Donte DiVincenzo are available but wearing face masks, adding minor protection measures. Enrique Freeman and Rocco Zikarsky remain in the G League.

Lauri Markkanen continues to carry the Jazz, averaging 30.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, with Keyonte George contributing 22.6 points and 7.9 assists.

The Timberwolves are led by Julius Randle, who averages 26.8 points and 6.9 rebounds, and Anthony Edwards, contributing 23.0 points when healthy. Rudy Gobert provides interior defense and rebounding, while Mike Conley distributes 7.4 assists per contest.

Utah holds a 3–5 record, including a 1–4 mark on the road, and looks to rebound after recent losses. Minnesota sits at 4–4 and hopes to protect home court as the team navigates minor injury concerns.
