After missing the last eight games due to a hamstring injury, Jalen Green reencountered a setback as he left the game early in the last seconds of the first quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Suns’ star guard grabbed his right hamstring and has been ruled out in the middle of the game for the remaining time.

Green went for a drive to the rim before passing the ball outside and immediately felt some discomfort in his hamstring, and went to the corner before the timeout.

The former highly prized rookie missed the entire preseason due to rehabbing the same injury, until he made his first appearance on Thursday against the Clippers in Phoenix, contributing 29 points in 23 minutes.

Unfortunately, a massive setback for the Phoenix as they just started clicking on Green’s return, along with their main superstar Devin Booker, which could help them win.

For the Suns’ loss, it was almost the same value as Kevin Durant after sending him to the Houston Rockets, where they could find a hard time looking for a next man up.

Green averaged 20.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game during his last stint with the Rockets.
