After sitting out the first eight games of the 2025–26 season with a right hamstring strain, Jalen Green made a memorable debut for the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night.
As reported by Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, the 23-year-old guard wasted no time making an impact, leading all scorers with 29 points on 10-of-20 shooting while adding three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in just 23 minutes of action during a dominant Suns victory.
Speaking after the game, Green said he was thrilled to finally be back on the court after weeks of recovery.
“Body wise, I felt really good,” he said. “Overall, I was just really excited to get out there. I was telling the guys I couldn’t even sleep. Usually I take a pregame nap. I couldn’t even get my nap in. I was so excited.”
Green has played 5 seasons for the Rockets and Suns. He has averaged 20.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 308 regular-season games.
