The Ireland men’s and women’s hockey teams are heading home from the World Cup after missing out on the quarter-finals.
The women’s team were unable to get the required win over Belgium – the tournament co-hosts ground out a 2-1 win.
While two goals in the final quarter saw the men’s side fall to a 3-1 defeat to Spain.
