Ireland fall one place in World Rankings

The Republic of Ireland have fallen one place in the latest Fifa World Rankings.

Heimir Hallgrimsson’s team now sit in 62nd, just 8 places above their lowest ever placing of 70th.

Wales have fallen 4 places to 34th, Scotland are up 5 to 38th and Northern Ireland have jumped 3 places to 68th.

Spain still lead the way in first while England remain 4th in the rankings.

Ireland’s next set of fixtures are next month when they welcome Portugal to Dublin before travelling to play Hungary.
