
France have beaten Ireland 18 to 13 in their Women’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final at Sandy Park, confirming Scott Bemand’s side’s exit from the tournament.
Linda Djougang and Stacey Flood both got first-half tries, before Dannah O’Brien added a penalty. France redeemed themselves in the second half with two successful penalties by Morgane Bourgeois, and tries by Charlotte Escudero and Joanna Grisez .
