The New York Knicks visit the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, November 19, with tip-off scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET. New York holds an 8-5 record, while Dallas struggles at 4-11 as both teams deal with key injuries.
Injury concerns could impact rotations. OG Anunoby is out for the Knicks with a left hamstring strain, and Jalen Brunson is questionable after spraining his right ankle.
The Mavericks will be without Anthony Davis (left calf strain) and Kyrie Irving (left knee surgery), while Dante Exum (right knee injury management) is out, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II are listed as probable, and Ryan Nembhard is sidelined with a left knee sprain.
The Knicks rely heavily on Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns for scoring, averaging 28.0 and 21.8 points per game, with Towns also grabbing 12.7 rebounds per contest. Mikal Bridges adds 16.2 points, and Josh Hart provides secondary scoring and rebounding with 6.5 boards per game. Brunson leads the backcourt in playmaking with 6.5 assists per game.
Dallas depends on Davis’ scoring and rebounding when available, producing 20.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. Cooper Flagg contributes 15.5 points, P.J. Washington adds 15.0, and Max Christie chips in 12.1 points per contest. D’Angelo Russell directs the offense with 4.9 assists per game.
Recent form favors New York, despite a narrow 115-113 loss at the Heat on November 17, following a 140-132 win over the same team on November 14.
Dallas comes off a 120-96 loss at Minnesota on November 17 but bounced back with a 138-133 victory against Portland the day before.
This marks the first meeting of the 2025-26 season between the two teams.
