
Rory McIlroy has suffered an injury scare a month out from the defence of his Masters title.
The PGA Tour confirmed that McIlroy withdrew from the remainder of this weekend’s Arnold Palmer Invitational with a back injury.
He was sitting on four-under-par heading into the third round in Orlando.

The Grand Slam champion is hoping to win another green jacket in Augusta in April.
American Daniel Berger remains out in front after a weather affected day.
He’s two shots clear of the rest at the top of the leaderboard and will return to finish his third round later today.
