Brandon Ingram poured in a season-high 37 points, including 15 in the third quarter, to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 110-99 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night at Scotiabank Arena. Scottie Barnes added a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds as Toronto extended its winning streak to eight games.
Toronto closed the first half on a 13-2 run to take a 57-54 lead and opened the third quarter with Ingram connecting on six of 12 shots. His three-pointer with 1:20 left in the period gave the Raptors their largest lead at 88-74. Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 12 points off the bench while Immanuel Quickley added 11 for the Raptors.
The Cavaliers struggled offensively, with Donovan Mitchell scoring 17 points on 6-of-20 shooting and Lonzo Ball finishing with eight points on 3-of-15 from beyond the arc. Jaylon Tyson contributed 15 points, while Evan Mobley and Nae’Qwan Tomlin each scored 14. Cleveland’s Darius Garland and De’Andre Hunter were sidelined, while Jarrett Allen missed his third straight game with a sprained right finger.
Toronto’s Jakob Poeltl returned from a day off to grab 13 rebounds, helping the Raptors control the boards and maintain spacing for Ingram and Barnes. The victory gives Toronto a 12-1 record over their last 13 games and completes a season sweep over Cleveland for the first time since 2019-20.
The Raptors improve to 13-5, remaining near the top of the Eastern Conference standings, while Cleveland falls to 12-7. Toronto’s backcourt depth and rebounding presence proved decisive against a Cavs team impacted by injuries and a struggling shooting night.
Toronto hosts the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, while Cleveland travels to Atlanta for a Friday matchup, both teams looking to rebound and continue their respective seasons.
