The Charlotte Hornets travel to Miami for an NBA Cup East Group C matchup with the Heat on Friday, November 7th at 8:00 p.m. ET at Kaseya Center. Both teams enter the game at .500 and face key roster challenges.

Charlotte will be without Josh Green and Brandon Miller, who remain sidelined with left shoulder issues, while Grant Williams continues his recovery from right knee surgery. LaMelo Ball is listed as questionable with a right ankle impingement, and Collin Sexton is probable after a neck strain. Several players, including Drew Peterson, Antonio Reeves, and Tidjane Salaun, are inactive due to G League assignments.

Miami faces a significant absence in All-Star center Bam Adebayo, who is out with a left big toe sprain. Tyler Herro is also sidelined recovering from left ankle surgery, while Myron Gardner and Jahmir Young remain inactive on G League two-way contracts. Nikola Jovic, Kasparas Jakucionis, and Norman Powell are listed as available despite minor injuries. Terry Rozier will not be with the team amid federal gambling investigation.

LaMelo Ball leads Charlotte in scoring with 23.3 points per game, while Miles Bridges adds 21.5 points and 6.6 rebounds. Sexton contributes 16.1 points and 5.3 assists per game, forming the core of the Hornets’ offense. Jakob Poeltl and Moussa Diabate provide stability in the frontcourt, averaging 6.9 and 6.6 rebounds, respectively.

Miami relies heavily on Powell, who is averaging 23.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, along with Andrew Wiggins’ 17 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest. Davion Mitchell leads the team in assists with 9.6 per game, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kel’el Ware anchor Miami’s frontcourt in scoring and rebounding.

The Hornets have lost two of their last three games and are looking to rebound after a 112–116 loss to New Orleans. The Heat, meanwhile, are coming off a 112–122 defeat at Denver and aim to regain momentum at home.
