HENNEBERY’S Sports Tralee has launched a high-profile charity raffle offering GAA fans the chance to win five Kerry jerseys signed by the All-Ireland winning teams of 2007, 2009, 2014, 2022 and 2025.

The fundraising campaign will support three Kerry charities — Kerry Mental Health Association, Kerry Cancer Support Group and Kerry Hospice Foundation — with the draw taking place on New Year’s Eve.

The raffle was officially launched at the Ashe Street store with new Kerry Minor Football Manager and five-time All-Ireland winner Marc Ó Sé, who has signed three of the jerseys included in the prize pool.

Tickets cost €10 each or three for €20 and will be available from Hennebery’s Sports Shop, Ashe Street, Tralee and volunteers who represent each of the three charities.

The late Michael Hennebery first opened the doors in 1965 and soon began supplying boots, jerseys and equipment to generations of athletes, from schoolyard beginners to All-Ireland champions.

Today, the family business is run by his sons Brian and Ciaran Hennebery, who say the anniversary is a moment to give back to the community that has supported them for six decades.

“Little compares to the joy of seeing a child walk out with their first pair of football boots or their first Kerry jersey,” said co-owner Brian Hennebery.

“Our customers have been the past, present and future stars and supporters of sport in Kerry. This raffle is our way of saying thank you and helping three incredible local charities that care for people across the county.”

With the festive shopping season approaching, all three charities are encouraging the public to “add a raffle ticket to the gift list”, reminding supporters that every entry directly funds vital local services.

Henneberys Sports, Ashe Street, Tralee is the number one pitstop for GAA, soccer and basketball kits, footwear for multiple sports activities, golf clubs and fitness equipment.
