
The Miami Heat dethroned the Washington Wizards 132-101 after Kasparas Jakucionis perfected a six-of-six from deep and finished with 22 points on Sunday.
Heat’s Bam Adebayo contributed 22 points, Norman Powell added 21, Kel’el Ware had 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins added 11 points and 10 boards.
Miami snapped their two-game losing streak and added to their team record with a 14th 130-plus point effort of the season.
On the other hand, Tristan Vukceivc led the Wizards with 14 points, and Alexx Sarr added 12 points and 12 rebounds, as Kyshawn George and Bilal Coulibaly departed early with injuries.
The Heat started with an early nine-point deficit and turned it into a 74-52 lead by halftime, as they outrebounded Washington 36-22 in the half and forced 10 third-quarter turnovers to extend their lead to 107-75.
The Wizards will play at Cleveland on Wednesday night, while the Heat hosts the Jazz on Monday.
