Atlanta and Charlotte enter Wednesday’s Eastern Conference matchup with several rotation questions, as both teams monitor injuries that could influence play-in positioning. The Hawks sit ninth at 26-29, while the Hornets are close behind at 25-29, making availability a major factor in a tight standings race.

Atlanta lists Jalen Johnson as questionable with left knee inflammation, a significant concern given his all-around production of 23.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.

Dyson Daniels is also questionable because of right ankle inflammation. The guard averages 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists, and his ability to pressure opposing guards is central to Atlanta’s transition game.

Zaccharie Risacher carries a questionable tag with a quad contusion. The Frenchman contributes 10.7 points while shooting 35.2% from beyond the arc, giving Atlanta another scoring option alongside Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who leads active scorers at 20.3 points per game.

New addition Jonathan Kuminga remains out with a left knee bone bruise. Onyeka Okongwu is available while wearing a face mask, and his 16.2 points with 7.8 rebounds provide interior balance.

Several Hawks players are doubtful due to G League assignments, including RayJ Dennis, Nikola Djurisic, and Caleb Houstan.

Charlotte’s injury report is lighter but still notable. Liam McNeeley is out with a left ankle sprain. Coby White is also ruled out with a left calf strain, limiting backcourt depth behind LaMelo Ball. Ball remains Charlotte’s offensive engine, averaging 19.2 points and 7.4 assists.

The Hornets are also without two-way players Tosan Evbuomwan and Antonio Reeves due to G League assignments.

Charlotte is coming off a 110–104 loss to Detroit after winning in Atlanta on February 7. The Hawks, meanwhile, are trying to bounce back from a 138–116 road loss to Minnesota.
