Séamus Harnedy has called time on his 15-year inter-county career with Cork’s hurlers.

The three-time All-Star says it’s “hard to put into words” how much it meant to him to represent his county.

Harnedy won four Munster titles and a National League medal with the Rebels, and was captain for their provincial success in 2018.

Wicklow have confirmed Oisín McConville’s re-appointment as their senior football manager for the 2027 season.

The former Armagh forward led the Garden County to Tailteann Cup success this summer, and a place in the All-Ireland Championship next year

Frankie Dolan won’t be part of McConville’s team for the coming season, despite pulling out of the race to become Longford’s new boss.
