The Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors released their official injury reports ahead of Monday night’s game at Chase Center in San Francisco. Both teams will enter the Western Conference matchup missing multiple contributors early in the 2025–26 season.
Memphis will once again be without five players. Brandon Clarke remains sidelined following right knee surgery, while Zach Edey continues recovering from left ankle surgery. Ty Jerome is out with a right calf strain, Scotty Pippen Jr. is recovering from left toe surgery, and Vince Williams Jr. will sit due to a right ankle impingement.
Despite the injuries, Memphis has opened the season 2–1, led by Ja Morant, who is averaging 22.0 points and 5.7 assists. Rookie Cedric Coward has provided a strong offensive boost with 19.0 points per game off the bench, while Jaren Jackson Jr. adds 18.0 points and 4.3 rebounds as the Grizzlies look to maintain momentum on the road.
Santi Aldama and Jock Landale have filled frontcourt minutes effectively, combining for 14.6 points and 13 rebounds per game through three outings. Head coach Tuomas Iisalo will continue relying on lineup versatility and playmaking from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is averaging 10.7 points and 4.7 assists in his first season with Memphis.
Golden State will be without veteran center Al Horford, who is out due to left toe injury management. De’Anthony Melton, who underwent ACL surgery last season, remains unavailable, and forward Alex Toohey is still recovering from a left knee issue.
The Warriors are 2–1 entering the contest, led by Stephen Curry, who is averaging 33.3 points and 4.7 assists. Jimmy Butler is posting 22.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, while Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green continue to anchor the frontcourt.
Golden State has relied on strong offensive production early, averaging 125 points per game, while Memphis is scoring 123.3 per contest. The matchup features two of the league’s top scoring guards in Curry and Morant, both capable of taking over late-game situations.
The Warriors will look to defend home court and improve to 3–1, while the Grizzlies aim to extend their winning streak to two before heading to Phoenix later this week.
