Brian Gleeson has pledged his future to Munster by signing a two-year contract extension at his home province.

The Ireland under-20 capped back-row forward has scored two tries in his 26 appearances for the Reds, and the new deal will keep him at Thomond Park until 2028.

Gleeson was called up by Andy Farrell to the Ireland training squad last October, before the Tipperary youngster suffered an elbow injury.

Joyce says he’s “really excited” to return to the Premiership and that moving to Gloucester is a “fantastic opportunity.”
