Former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against her four-year ban from tennis.

The Czech player was suspended in June for refusing an anti-doping test.

She says she was suffering with “physical and mental stress” at the time and feared for her safety when a control officer called at her home last December.
