Teenager Rory Finneran says he’s determined to impress Republic of Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrimsson during this week’s senior training camp in Spain.

The 18-year-old Newcastle United midfielder was a late call-up to the squad ahead of Saturday’s friendly with Grenada in Murcia.

Finneran, who represented Ireland at the Under-17 World Cup, says he hopes strong performances in training can earn him a senior debut.
