A ban on two consecutive handpasses and two points for a sideline cut are among experimental hurling rules to be trialled in third-level competition this season.
The Hurling Expert Advisory Group, led by former Cork manager John Meyler, has recommended the changes.
The experimental rules will be implemented in third-level Division 1 hurling matches later this year.
