Alex Dunne has qualified third-fastest for the opening race of the F2 season in Melbourne.
The Offaly native announced earlier this week that he had signed for the Alpine Academy.
He’s representing Rodin Motorsport in this season’s F2 Driver’s Championship, which gets underway tomorrow.
