American president Donald Trump has threatened to move 2026 World Cup matches away from host cities deemed to be ‘dangerous’.
He’s claimed that political protests could cause safety concerns and that FIFA President Gianni Infantino would ‘very easily’ agree to switch the venues.
President Trump has also again indicated he could look to remove Los Angeles’ hosting rights for the next Olympic Games if the city is not considered safe.
