Keegan Murray added 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Malik Monk contributed 22 points for Sacramento, which improved to 5-13.

DeRozan tied the game at 101 with two free throws with 34 seconds left in regulation, then Sacramento survived misses by DeRozan and Monk on the final possession to force overtime. In the extra period, the Kings outscored Minnesota 16-11, with Murray and DeRozan anchoring the attack.
Sacramento (5-13) capitalized on its momentum from Saturday’s road win over Denver, snapping an eight-game losing streak, while Minnesota fell to 10-7. The Kings had a balanced offensive effort, with eight players scoring at least 7 points, including Russell Westbrook, who added seven assists.
The Timberwolves struggled with timely baskets late, and their 27.0% shooting from beyond the arc could not overcome Edwards’ prolific scoring. Sacramento, meanwhile, shot 43% from the field and converted 26 of 28 free throws, highlighting their efficiency in crunch time.
The Kings host the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday in an NBA Cup matchup, while Minnesota travels to Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
