Lambourn has emulated his sire Australia by completing and Epsom and Irish Derby double.
Aidan O’Brien’s stable star ran out a three quarters of a lengths winner in the 160th running of the Irish Derby at the Curragh.
Lambourn has now been installed as the favourite for the Saint Leger at Doncaster in September.
