Fearghal Curtin has smashed the Irish marathon record in South Korea today.
The Youghal runner won the Gyeongju International Marathon, clocking a time of 2 hours, 7 minutes and 54 seconds.
It’s over a minute-and-a-half faster than the previous Irish record, set by Peter Lynch in Dusseldorf back in April.
