Stephen Curry made six 3-pointers on his way to 31 points, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 134-117 victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday at Chase Center. Jimmy Butler added 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds as Golden State improved to 10-9.

The Warriors overcame an early 11-0 deficit, going on a 17-3 run to seize control and held a 67-55 lead at halftime after a 41-point second quarter. Moses Moody contributed 15 points and six rebounds, while Gary Payton II added nine points, a career-high eight assists and six rebounds in a rare start.

Keyonte George led the Jazz with 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting, adding seven assists and six rebounds, but Utah dropped to 5-12 and lost its fourth straight game. Lauri Markkanen added 17 points, while Jusuf Nurkic had eight, as the Jazz shot just 47% from the field.

Golden State committed only 10 turnovers, scored 14 points off 17 Jazz miscues and received 52 points from the bench, including 20 from Buddy Hield. The Warriors’ efficient offense offset the absence of Draymond Green, who missed his third game this month with a sprained right foot, while Jonathan Kuminga remains sidelined with knee issues.

The Jazz will host Sacramento on Friday, while Golden State returns home to face the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
