Stephen Curry poured in 46 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 125-120 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night at Frost Bank Center. Jimmy Butler added 28 points and eight assists, while Moses Moody contributed 19 as Golden State overcame triple-doubles from both Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle.

Wembanyama recorded 31 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists for his fourth career triple-double, and Castle finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. The duo became the first Spurs teammates to post triple-doubles in the same game.

Curry scored 29 points in the second half, helping the Warriors outscore San Antonio 76-64 over the final two quarters. His four 3-pointers in the third gave Golden State its first lead since the opening minutes, and he went 15-for-16 from the free-throw line overall.

San Antonio had built a 16-point lead in the second quarter, aided by alley-oop dunks from Luke Kornet on assists from Castle and Devin Vassell. Wembanyama, standing 7-foot-4, did not dunk but recorded a block off Draymond Green’s 25-foot attempt, extending his streak to 96 consecutive games with at least one block.

The Spurs’ offensive efforts kept the game close, but the Warriors’ efficiency at the line (32-for-36) and timely shooting from Curry and Butler proved decisive. San Antonio shot 48.9% from the field and made 14 of 39 from three-point range.
