Cork overcome Waterford

Cork kept up their unbeaten run in the Munster Hurling Championship.

They came from behind to beat Waterford by 1-26 to 25 points at Walsh Park.

Galway are also three from three in the Leinster championship.

Three goals in the second half were enough to beat Kildare by 4-22 to 1-22.

Wexford’s struggles continued as they suffered a 2-21 to 22 point loss at home to Dublin.

There was better news for the Wexford footballers who opened their Tailteann Cup campaign with a victory.

Goals from Liam O’Connor and Michael Kinsella helped them to a 2-19 to 1-11 win over Limerick.

Offaly are also on the board after beating Clare by 1-17 to 1-14.
