Cooper Flagg’s standout rookie season resumes tomorrow, and the hype surrounding the No. 1 overall pick continues to grow – especially among collectors.
His debut game jersey recently sold for an impressive $1 million, signaling strong belief in his future stardom.
Sotheby’s completed the private sale earlier this month, selling the white-and-blue jersey Flagg wore on October 22, 2025, when the former Duke star made his first NBA appearance.
He recorded a double-double in that game, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The seven-figure purchase set a new record for a jersey sold through NBA Auctions and marked the “highest publicly recorded price” for any Flagg memorabilia to date.
“The $1 million result for Cooper Flagg’s rookie debut jersey is a powerful testament to the significance collectors place on true ‘first moments’ in sport,” said Brahm Wachter, Sotheby’s Head of Modern Collectibles.
“This jersey captures the very beginning of a special career, one carrying huge expectations and excitement.”
Flagg has already produced several notable milestones this season, including surpassing LeBron James as the youngest player to record both a 10-assist and a 35-point performance, and expectations remain high as his career continues to develop.
