Chicago Bulls guard Coby White will officially make his season debut on Saturday night when Chicago faces the Utah Jazz.
The team plans to bring White back gradually – he’ll be on a minutes restriction and won’t play in back-to-back games during the early phase of his return.
White has been sidelined due to a strained calf suffered shortly before the season began, delaying his first appearance of the year.
The 25-year-old combo guard is returning from what the team described as a lengthy recovery process.
White was a major contributor for Chicago last season, finishing as the Bulls’ leading scorer at 20.4 points per game.
He also posted 4.5 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and nearly one steal per contest, marking the most productive year of his career and establishing himself as a core piece of the team’s backcourt rotation.
