The Los Angeles Clippers are adding another young piece to their roster. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the team has signed forward Jahmyl Telfort to a two-way contract after he went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Telfort, who played his final two collegiate seasons at Butler, brings scoring versatility and steady production. Over five years between Northeastern and Butler, the 6’7” forward averaged 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 145 college games while shooting 44.1% from the field.
In his fifth and final collegiate season, Telfort recorded 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game on 47.1% shooting and 36.1% from beyond the arc. His ability to score efficiently from multiple spots on the floor made him one of the most consistent offensive threats in the Big East.
Telfort also showed strong playmaking instincts, averaging more than three assists per contest for Butler while maintaining a solid defensive presence. His perimeter defense and ability to guard multiple positions made him a valuable contributor on both ends.
The 24-year-old impressed scouts during the 2025 Summer League, appearing in five games for the Clippers’ entry. Despite limited minutes, he averaged 3.6 points in 12.3 minutes per game while shooting 53.8% from the field and 50.0% from three-point range.
By signing a two-way deal, Telfort will split his time between the Clippers and their G League affiliate, the Ontario Clippers. Players on two-way contracts can spend up to 50 games with the NBA team while continuing their development in the G League.
