
Enzo Maresca has been appointed as the successor to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
The Spaniard left the club after a decade in charge at the Etihad, with the former Chelsea boss having been tipped to take over since.
It’s his third stint at the club, having previously held roles as academy manager and as an assistant coach to Guardiola.

However, his former employers have since criticised the move.
The London club says Maresca was contacted about the City job in the autumn of 2025 while he was still under contract at Stamford Bridge.
