The Boston Celtics visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, November 18, at 7:30 PM ET with several players unavailable.
Jayson Tatum (right Achilles repair) remains sidelined, while two-way players Max Shulga and Amari Williams are also out.
Boston enters the contest at 7-7, led by Jaylen Brown, who is averaging 27.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists. Derrick White (16.0 points, 3.9 rebounds) and Payton Pritchard (16.4 points, 3.9 assists) are expected to shoulder the scoring load in Tatum’s absence. The Celtics have been inconsistent on the road with a 3-4 record
The Nets, struggling at 2-11, will be without Haywood Highsmith (right knee surgery), Ben Saraf (left ankle sprain), and Cam Thomas (left hamstring strain).
Michael Porter Jr. remains the team’s leading scorer at 24.1 points per game with 7.8 rebounds, while Nic Claxton (15.2 points, 7.0 rebounds) will anchor the frontcourt.
Brooklyn’s depth is limited by injuries, and Terance Mann (9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds) and Ziaire Williams (10.0 points, 2.5 rebounds) will need to step up. The Nets have yet to win a home game this season (0-6) and are seeking a turnaround against a Celtics squad missing its star.
