Arkansas guard Boogie Fland has announced via Instagram that he will declare for the 2025 NBA Draft.

While Fland, who recently completed his freshman season with the Razorbacks, has the option to test the waters and still retain his NCAA eligibility, his statement does not reference any intention to return to college.

This suggests that he is preparing to make the jump to the professional ranks.

At just 18 years old – he won’t turn 19 until July – Fland had a productive debut season with Arkansas, playing in 21 games.

Throughout his first (and potentially only) college season, he averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals while logging 31.8 minutes per game.

However, his shooting efficiency was a bit of a concern, as he made only 37.9% of his field goals and 34.0% of his three-point attempts.

Fland’s freshman year was interrupted by a thumb injury that required surgery in January, putting his season in jeopardy.

Despite initial expectations that the injury would sideline him for the rest of the year, Fland made a surprising return for the NCAA Tournament.

Unfortunately, his performance was subpar in his three games back, as he struggled to find his rhythm.

In those games, he scored only 12 points on 4-of-18 shooting in 53 minutes of action against Kansas, St. John’s, and Texas Tech.

Despite his mixed performance, Fland remains a prospect with considerable potential, as evidenced by his position at No. 48 on ESPN’s latest 2025 NBA draft big board, compiled by Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo.
