Veteran center Bismack Biyombo will make the San Antonio Spurs roster for the 2025–26 season, NBA insider Michael Scotto reported. The 33-year-old enters his 15th NBA season after averaging 5.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 26 starts during 28 games last year.

Biyombo’s presence as a veteran has been noted for its impact in the locker room. He started the majority of games for the Spurs last season, providing experience and stability to a young roster.

Over his 14-year career, Biyombo has played 867 regular-season games, averaging 5.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. He has been a consistent defensive presence and rim protector across multiple teams.

During the 2025–26 preseason, Biyombo contributed in limited minutes, recording rebounds and blocks in victories over Indiana and Miami. His efficiency around the basket remains a key factor in his rotation role.

The Spurs are expected to utilize Biyombo as a backup center, offering defensive toughness and experience off the bench. His ability to mentor younger players adds value beyond the stat sheet.
