Arsenal ‘considering shock swoop for Everton flop Moise Kean’ to solve striker woes but face fight with three Prem foes

ARSENAL are keeping tabs on Everton flop Moise Kean amid their bid to finally add some firepower up front.

The Gunners have been unable to sign a centre-forward in the last few transfer windows, leaving manager Mikel Arteta with a serious lack of options to spearhead his attack.

Arteta has used Gabriel Jesus, who mainly played as a winger at Manchester City, and the likes of Kai Havertz and Mikel Merino as false nines even though that is not their natural position.

Many Arsenal fans have blamed the lack of a natural striker as the reason they have missed out on the Premier League title the last two seasons, a record that looks set to be extended this term.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, however, the North Londoners are finally looking to splash the cash for a No9 this coming summer transfer window.

And Arsenal have been linked with Kean, 25, who is thriving this season with Fiorentina as he has already registered 20 goals and three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.

The Italy international couldn’t meet the Toffees’ demands and was loaned out to Paris Saint-Germain and former club Juve where he made a permanent return in 2023.

The striker only managed a mere total of four goals and two assists in 39 appearances with the Merseysiders.

However, Kean regained his former goalscoring prowess with Fiorentina following his move to the Artemio Franchi in the summer.

That is why Arsenal are facing competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham, West Ham and Newcastle, who see him as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak if he decides to leave.

Isak has taken the Premier League by storm since his arrival at St James’ Park in 2022 and has even been linked with a move to the Emirates this summer.
