Al Horford is out for Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns.
The Golden State Warriors have been sparing the 39-year-old veteran from back-to-back games to utilize his strength until the end of the season.
For another reason, Horford has been sidelined due to a left toe injury, which was not a case of total load management, but rather a decision made by the team regarding injury management.
Now, the Warriors will face the Suns without Horford, as Quinten Post and Trayce Jackson-Davis are expected to be used in the rotation due to the center’s absence.
The veteran center has appeared in five out of seven games this season, averaging 5.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists, as it seems he is struggling to find his groove with the new system in Golden State.
