
Sports Minister Patrick O’Donovan says he is confident progress will be made on Gaelic Games integration in 2027.
Representatives from the GAA, Camogie Association and Ladies Gaelic Football Association are due before an Oireachtas Committee this afternoon to discuss their amalgamation plans.
Former President Mary McAleese stepped down as chairperson of the integration steering group last month, citing frustration over the lack of progress.

However, Minister O’Donovan says he has been assured that all three associations remain committed to integration.
