F1 defending champion Lando Norris is unsure if McLaren will be able to fix an issue with his car ahead of this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.
He’s struggled at recent races in Azerbaijan and Malaysia due to a loss of straight-line speed.
Norris – who’s fifth in the standings – says it’s “painful” to lose time on his rivals every lap of a race.
Britain’s George Russell is expected to suffer a further blow to his F1 championship hopes by starting from the back of the grid at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver – who’s second in the standings – suffered a power unit failure in Malaysia last time out.
Changing the unit will see him given a penalty because Russell’s already used the maximum allocation of four units this season.
