Spectrum SportsNet is reshuffling its Los Angeles Lakers coverage for the 2026-27 season, with Danny Green receiving a larger role.
Bill Macdonald returns for his 17th season as the team’s play-by-play announcer, while Stu Lantz enters his 41st season but will call only Lakers home games.
Green will become the primary analyst for road games after filling in for Lantz several times last season.
The three-time NBA champion will also continue contributing to the network’s studio coverage.
Mike Trudell returns as sideline reporter for his 16th season and will share the role with newcomer Roqui Theus, a former UC Irvine basketball player with experience across several television markets.
Sasha Vujacic, who won titles with Los Angeles in 2009 and 2010, is also joining the studio rotation alongside Green, Derek Fisher and Robert Horry.
Chris McGee and James Worthy will remain the main studio pairing, with Mike Bresnahan and Allie Clifton continuing their roles.
Lakers home games will also have a different sound following Lawrence Tanter’s retirement in June.
The longtime public address announcer stepped away after 43 seasons with the franchise.
