The Israel FA has accused Republic of Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson of “ignorance, hypocrisy and stupidity.”
Ireland begin their Nations League campaign against Kosovo this Thursday, before facing Israel in the Hungarian city of Debrecen on Sunday.
Hallgrimsson last week described the upcoming games against Israel as “playing against genocide.”
