Lorenzo Brown has publicly expressed his frustration as his uncertain situation with Olimpia Milano continues ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The veteran point guard remains under contract with the Italian champions, but multiple reports throughout the summer have indicated that he is no longer part of head coach Giuseppe Poeta’s plans.
Brown, who joined Milano last season, gradually disappeared from the rotation and has not played a competitive game for the club since January.
With his future still unresolved, the 36-year-old addressed the situation on social media with a brief but direct message.
“Free me,” Brown said under quotations on his profile.
The Spanish international endured a difficult EuroLeague campaign with Milano, appearing in only 12 games. He averaged 5.8 points, 2.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds during those appearances.
His final game came on January 22 against Zalgiris Kaunas. Brown spent just over seven minutes on the court in the home defeat, finishing with two rebounds and one assist.
He did not return to competitive action for Milano afterward, remaining out of the lineup as the team completed the rest of its domestic and European schedule.
With Brown seemingly outside Milano’s plans and now openly signaling his desire to leave, the two sides could be approaching a separation.
A mutual termination, buyout or transfer remain possible solutions before the new season begins.
