Coco Gauff fought from a set down to book her place in the US Open semi-finals.
The fourth seed needed to save two match points to beat French Open champion Mirra Andreeva.
Gauff will face Elena Rybakina in the last-four – she won the deciding set against Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen.

That result also propels Rybakina to top spot in the World Rankings.
In the men’s draw, top seed Alexander Zverev eased past Botic van der Zandschulp in straight sets.
That sets up a semi-final meeting with Karen Khachanov, who progressed from his quarter-final after opponent Alexander Blockx was forced to retire.
