Gabriel Bannigan has shed some light on his surprise exit as manager of the Monaghan footballers last week.
The Aughnamullen man stepped away after two seasons in charge, claiming in a statement that the “conditions were not right” for him to continue in the role.
Bannigan revealed the county board had approved his changes to the backroom team for next year, but felt their position had changed in a matter of weeks
