Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that Rory Gaffney has retired from football.
The 36-year-old scored 50 goals in 187 appearances for the Hoops, where he won five league titles and last year’s FAI Cup.
He also enjoyed spells at Bristol Rovers, Walsall and Cambridge United.
