The Los Angeles Lakers will face the Golden State Warriors four times in October, with their latest meeting coming in NBA Cup Group Play.
Los Angeles will travel to San Francisco on Oct. 30 to face Golden State at Chase Center in its first NBA Cup game of the season.
The matchup will be part of an Amazon Prime doubleheader. Earlier that night, LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers will host the defending NBA Cup and NBA champion New York Knicks.
The NBA also announced the rest of the Lakers’ group schedule. Los Angeles will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 6 and Sacramento Kings on Nov. 20 before visiting the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 27.
The Lakers and Warriors will already be familiar with each other by then. They are scheduled to meet twice during the preseason, on Oct. 6 in San Francisco and Oct. 13 in Las Vegas, before facing each other again in their regular-season opener on Oct. 21.
NBA Cup Group Play will run from Oct. 30 through Nov. 27, followed by the single-elimination knockout rounds from Dec. 4-9.
The championship game is scheduled for Dec. 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, marking the first time the NBA Cup final will be played outside Las Vegas.
